Re: slipknot

i like it, but i'm still gaining an opinion. it might have their most simple riffage to date, but there are defenitley some heavy old school style songs, a couple songs sound like nothing they've done before, and  it probably has the most clean vocals done by corey in slipknot. i like the production, although its hard to believe that there is 9 people behind it, it just sounds like one guitar, bass, drums, vocals, some guy hitting a sample button, and some guy beating on a keg from time to time. i guess it sounds "less" than other albums

Re: slipknot

Havent listened to the whole album yet, just a new song each day that they are posting on Spotify and so far I'm very impressed. AOV being my favorite track so far. Shaping up to be a stellar album, maybe their best complete album, each song I heard fuckin jams.

Definetaly a lot of keg parts for Clown on this one. He stepped up his game.

Re: slipknot

Not sure I'd say this album is better than the first 2, but it's solid jams. Definitely like it better than AHIG and Vol 3. Some of their best songs on this. And from start to finish every song is pretty rad, other albums had some skip overs.

Only an initial observation so far. See how it stands after I'm more familiar with it.
