Definitely better than anything after Ashes. Nice to hear them try new things. So far after three listens I'm really digging it.

I haven't gotten into a log album this much since Ashes. Their recent efforts actually bored me so much I hardly listened to the old stuff. Mortons guitar shines on this one and Randys vocals finally have some of that aggressive bark that lacked on the recent albums. Taking some listens to start breaking it down and I'm finding something killer each listen. Can't help but think how much ol Wilson would dig this. Horns for sure.

i need to give it a proper listen all the way through

gave it a listen all the way through, i do think it's better than the last few but it really made me go back and listen to older log. 10th anniversary palaces sounds 10 times better, don't think i ever really listened the remaster much before

I think the production is lacking on the new one. No bass and the kick drums seem a little flat, compare it to Ashes where the drum sound is amazing. Hopefully next record they try a different producer, maybe go with Machine again.

it's probably because i've always been such a casual lamb of god fan i only pay most attention to their two best albums really. they will have new ones that come out which i will like but not listen to much after a while of coming out
i remember not even liking them when you had new american gospel back in the day, ha
